lmao looks like you was maybe 20 yds from it
No,... I was holding the camera. My young and indestructible buddy was the shooter.
I tried to get him to back up some, but, NOOOOOO! He knows how to handle it!
Anyway, there was no shrapnel because we just filled ziplock bags and tapped them tight with vinyl tape. had we used any kind of container, then he'd be dead for sure.
Me too. Have five .500 steel targets set up at varying distances.
just a friendly reminder folks Lincoln Trail does not permit exploding targets at its range. This is because of its close proximity to homes and churches the extra noise has caused us a few problems in the past so we decided to prohibit them
I was driving behind the Walmart on Shelbyville road just off of the Snyder. There is a Point Blank store and range under construction right behind that Walmart! I love this and hope they give strong competition to Open Range. I hope to be one of their first customers, pretty close to where I live. Can even go the Texas Road House afterwards, maybe schedule schedule a group meet.
Is this off North English Station Rd?
Well, we can hit Academy, the Range, then TRH!
Point Blank is a franchise , I do believe.
Joella's Hot Chicken is another excellent place to eat near there.
I used a groupon for Open Range. Probably the nicest indoor range I've been to. I'd never pay their regular prices though. Knob Creek is ok. Wish I had some land, or knew where there was some public land nearby the Louisville/Southern IN area. Let me know if there's any, thanks. (I've been to Clark State Forest; usually have to wait for a table, and despite the DNR website stating it's free, you have to pay $5 now according to the local rangers there).
It is on the corner of N. English Station & Aiken Rd. Looks like it is on Walmart's propertry....but it is not. My Company is doing the sitework (one of my projects). The Owner is building 8 of them throughout the Midwest and then is going to sell them as a package (my understanding). I know that there is one in Cinci, Northern KY and Indy (I believe). This one is 5 minutes from my house.
Who needs a "range" when you got steel targets 100 yards from the back door? Gotta love rural kentucky
Wow! The M16 lower & G18 SBR were amazing I didn't realize you guys did class 3 stuff. Do you mess around with suppressors much?
Yeah I do suppressed stuff also.

Does anyone know of any range options in the general Florence area, just south of Cincinnati?
It appears that the new range behind Walmart in Middletown is now open. Only a couple miles from me. Anybody able to provide a report yet? I'll certainly get there before the end of next weekend.
on english station rd ?
Yes, dbh has an overhead view a few posts previous to this one.
